How to embed your stories on your Shopify pages.

Purpose:

The purpose of this article is to provide direction on embedding shoppable videos across your Shopify store inline within product descriptions or individual sections.

Intended Audience:

Marketing/Content Manager


Create a new story campaign by the clicking "New Lyve -> Stories"

Once the story is created, hit "Publish story"

Select the "Custom HTML" option on the Publish Story view



Copy the code

Open up the desired page or Product description that you'd like to embed your story on.

The two ways of embedding your shoppable video

Paste the code snippet directly into your </> HTML product description in your product listing



Paste the code snippet into a "Custom Liquid" section in your Shopify page builder/Shogun

If you're missing a "Custom Liquid/Custom HTML" section in your Shopify page builder, you would have to create a code template within your theme files.




Hit "Save" and you're all set!

Shopify sometimes takes a few seconds to propagate your changes, open an incognito window to instantly see your changes.
